Update to Covid Secure Guidelines

Boris Johnson announcement on the 10th September that there are now new coronavirus safety rules to suppress the virus and keep the number of infections down. In line with this the government has also published simplified COVID-19 Secure guidance to help business owners make their workplaces COVID-secure.

These 14 guides cover a range of different types of work. Many businesses operate more than one type of workplace, such as an office, factory and fleet of vehicles therefore may need to use more than one of these guides when thinking through what is needed to keep people safe. Priority actions are outlined at the top of each guide.

The guides can be used alongside the governments Covid Risk Assessment, which helps to make sure businesses have covered what is necessary to keep workers and others safe. Once a risk assessment is completed businesses must also monitor them to make sure that the control measures put in place are working as expected.
